The lucky champions of BGT not only win fame and a contract with Simon Cowell but a massive cash prize of £250,000.

BRITAIN’S Got Talent star Jonathan Goodwin shared a new wheelchair picture and an inspiring message about “things going wrong”.

The escapologist, 42, is paralysed for life after a dangerous stunt went wrong.

Jonathan was performing a stunt on America’s Got Talent: Extreme where he attempted to escape from a straight jacket while being hung upside down 30 feet in the air in between two suspended cars.

But the brave star today took a mirror selfie from his chair and wrote an inspirational message to fan.

Posting the snap he said: “Take a breath and make a new plan.”

Jonathan then wrote: “When things go wrong, try not to panic.

“Take a minute, take a breath, and try to work out how to move forward.

“I’m not saying things can never be really bad, but sometimes it’s just that things aren’t fitting the plan we had in our head.”

BRITAIN'S Got Talent star Jordan Banjo, of Diversity fame, revealed his stunning transformation after changing his lifestyle.

The pro dancer said he made the change by sticking to a regimented diet and exercise plan.

"Still shocks me when I see this😅 Way less dancing, no diet structure and a lack of motivation had me how I was in the first pic," Jordan wrote.

He continued: "But getting the mindset right and having a focus which was getting ready for tour has me where I am now🙌🏾.

"Random I know but thought I’d share because looking at those pics next to each other just gave me a shock😂."

Last night's instalment of Britain's Got Talent was packed with show-stopping acts, but viewers were left grumbling about one thing.

A number of viewers did not like how many children were featured on the show.

One questioned on the social media platform: "Is this Britain's Got Talent or Children Have Talent?"

Another wrote: "Please not another children special evening.|

A third chimed in: "No more children please no more #BGT."

This is a longstanding complaint for many viewers, with some going as far as to suggest a spin-off show specifically for kids.

BRITAIN’S Got Talent bosses have denied allegations the show is ‘recycling’ contestants from other shows – including old BGT episodes.

An investigation by The Sun found that of the sixty acts whose auditions have been screened on ITV this year.

Around fifteen of them have already appeared on a Got Talent show, have links to Simon Cowell and other BGT talent or came to the show as a ‘professional’.

“So we shouldn’t punish these people for trying to better themselves and utilise every platform on offer to showcase their talent.”

A BGT spokesman added: “All acts enter the competition with the hope of elevating their career to the highest level and help to reach massive new audiences which Britain’s Got Talent brings in.

“As we’re all aware, the pandemic affected so many lives, particularly those that work in the entertainment industry, and it is wrong to deny these people the opportunity to showcase their talents and entertain the nation, and ultimately perform in front of royalty at the Royal Variety Performance.

“As has always been the case, Britain’s Got Talent is open to everyone.”

Last weekend’s show had a slew of impressive acts, including nine-year-old Ryland, who performed a draw-dropping magic show, receiving yeses from the judges.

However, some viewers feel it is wrong to have children perform on the show.

One viewer said: “There are way too many kids on #BritainsGotTalent this year, they should have their own series and leave this to the adults. #BGT.”

Perhaps these complaints could lead to a spin-off show!

Episodes will be available on the ITV Hub after each episode has aired.

As always the BGT champion will walk away with a huge cash prize of £250,000 and spot on bill of the Royal Variety Performance.

The reigning champ from 2020 is comedy singer Jon Courtenay.

Of course, Geordie comedy duo Ant and Dec will host the talent competition once again.

Simon Cowell – The judge everybody loves to hate, Simon Cowell, has made a comeback for this series of Britain’s Got Talent. As Simon Cowell’s production company SyCo is the team behind the show, it was guaranteed that Simon would be back.

Amanda Holden – To the delight of viewers, the star will grace our screens every Saturday night for another series. Amanda Holden has been a firm fixture on the show since the first series and has become a household name.

Alesha Dixon – Alesha Dixon is back to judging the new series of Britain’s Got Talent. She joined the panel back in 2012 and quickly became a fan favourite.

David Walliams – Funnyman David Walliams is back as the final judge of the series. The actor and comedian is known for his camp humour and for annoying Simon Cowell.

When are the Britain's Got Talent live semi finals?

The live semi-finals will be running from Monday, May 30 till Friday, June 3.

All episodes will air at 8pm on ITV.

Eight acts will perform each night with the hope of impressing those watching enough that they'll vote for them.

The judges will then choose between the two acts with the most votes who will make it through to the final.

Ant & Dec (Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly) are the presenters of Britain’s Got Talent.

They have hosted the show together since Series 1, and have been given the same Golden Buzzer rights as the Judges since Series 8.

In Series 12, Ant was involved in a drink-driving incident, which left Dec to host the live shows solo.

She became a household name when she appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2017 and five years on – Destiny Chukunyere looks very different.

The 19-year-old, who is from Malta, has had a real glow up since finishing in sixth place on the show and has continued to pave a very successful singing career.

In 2019 she went on to appear in the Maltese version of the X Factor, which she won and in 2021 she represented her country in the Eurovision Song contest – finishing in seventh place.

She has got Eurovision history though – she previously won the junior version in 2015, two years before she went on the X Factor.

Destiny was just 14 when she went on the UK singing show and wowed the judges singing Aretha Franklin in her audition.

Now an adult, Destiny has a very glamorous look and often shares pictures of herself in stunning gowns as she continues to have a successful singing career.

Last weekend's show had a slew of impressive acts, including nine-year-old Ryland, who performed a draw-dropping magic show, receiving yeses from the judges.

LOVE Island fans were beside themselves as the first look at the upcoming season aired during last week’s Britain’s Got Talent.

The dating show phenomenon will start again next month and the unexpected teaser delighted fans.

It showed claymation scene featuring a person swimming in the pool doing ‘salmon dives’.

The teaser also paid homage to Millie Court’s iconic moment last season when she played the keyboard and instantly became a meme.

Declaring “Love we own it”, the teaser also played the series’ recognisable cutaway music, to the delight of fans watching at home.

“Love Island must be back we all know that tune,” tweeted one person.

Another added: “Just seen the first advert that love island is coming back soon…. And I’m absolutely here for it.”

“Just heard that magical noise of summer…”

The award-winning group intends to return to the BGT stage in June’s series finale.

Jordan Banjo, 29, said: “We certainly hope to be back performing on BGT this year.”

It would mark a return to the show that made Diversity famous when they beat Susan Boyle in the 2009 series’ final.

Since then the group, which is led by Jordan’s brother Ashley, 33, have starred on everything from Dancing on Ice to The Real Full Monty.

It's a tough call, but who do you want to see in the final?

SO many great acts we forgot about. Any dogs in it this year?

How stunning does Dixon look?

We can't believe we nearly wore the exact same thing...

Who's going home? We can't watch. Or wait.

How are the judges going to say goodbye to so much talent?

Please don't stop doing life-saving operations on people, says David.

The lovely cancer doctor is through.

Everyone's loving Dr Bam.

Are you kidding? We can't touch our toes.
