2018 Ford F-650, F-750: Recall Alert-PickupTrucks.com

2021-12-08 11:41:09 By : Ms. Jolin Zhang

Affected vehicles: Between January 26 and March 13, 2018, the Ohio assembly plant produced approximately 1,500 2018 Ford F-650 and F-750 trucks equipped with hydraulic braking systems

Problem: Some main and/or auxiliary brake circuit hose assemblies located between the master cylinder and the hydraulic control unit may not have a designated anti-corrosion coating on the metal ferrule connecting the flexible braided steel hose to the metal pipe. This may This leads to premature corrosion of the brake hose ferrule, brake fluid leakage and reduced braking function, which increases the risk of collision.

Ford said that it is currently unclear about any accidents or injuries related to the issue.

Repair: The dealer will replace the brake hose assembly free of charge, which contains a properly plated ferrule.

What car owners should do: Ford did not immediately announce the timetable for notification of car owners. Car owners can call the car manufacturer's phone at 866-436-7332, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit their website to view their vehicle identification number and learn more.

After reading this article, Frank had a nervous breakdown. I guess he can't bring all the negative emotions to Ford. As Carl Childers said, the ambulance just arrived and dragged him to the psychiatric ward of the neuropathy hospital.

After reading it, I still feel pretty good. Sorry, I can't lower my head to your level.

Ford: always bear the responsibility for the recall

Geeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzz...shaking his head again!

They just keep scrolling! It's kind of like the mayfly in my lake hut in May!

One thing is certain, Will, Ford is consistent with their brakes and fire problems.

The brake cable has rotted from the 2018 truck! Wow what cheap cheap Chinese garbage Ford is! It's like the 3 brake recall of these garbage trucks this year! LMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drink more wine.

"The metal ferrule connecting the flexible braided steel hose to the metal pipe may not have a designated anti-corrosion coating"

Ford does not make brake cables, dumb. You should read before making those crying comments.

Still on Ford trucks, Ford can still use it for cheap garbage trucks.

Frank seriously! ? ? "Ford doesn't make them" πŸ˜‚. So because Ford was unsuccessful, they didn't know what was installed on the truck?

How is Ford responsible? The manufacturer did not use anti-corrosion compounds.

You are a loser, T00L

Yes, Papajim is right, you do have more serious problems than I thought. You can also recall that the manufacturer forgot to give you the medicine, but it is not your fault.

I see that you like to deviate from my original question.

Serious again? πŸ˜‚ How can they be responsible? ? ? Hahaha, you think they are not responsible for selling things with names, I'm so stupid! Go take medicine

This is called quality control, but I guess Ford does not have something similar.

Try not to ask any more questions before taking the medicine

To take your life, it's useless

Wow, and another educational comment from Frank! This is a good answer to the question I answered...You still need to undergo quality control checks, but let me guess, you are not responsible for the review because it has your name on it... .πŸ˜‚

Chevy and Ram can't make such a big truck. If they did, they would have problems too, oops! They will have bigger problems

Has everyone forgotten the ball festival that fell from Ram Heavy Duty?

2 a day. Ford's bias here ends here, even though both are small and different factories/models in the overall picture.

At least it will be repaired and no one was injured. It is different from Ford's large-scale cruise control fire problem.

Remember kids, so far, Fiat has to make the largest truck repurchase ever, and General Motors needs 2 to 3 attempts to repair your ignition springs while sending recall notices to people who are actually dead.

Quality control is done at the manufacturer level, where they actually manufacture the brake cables. Not at the Ford assembly plant when it was late, which was the reason for the recall.

Ford and Toyota took their rotten metal.

I want to know why there is no one here anymore? I hope this is not because Dad, TNT and myself ruined this website. It seems that we are just talking about the same rubbish.

Interestingly, when Toyota recalled parts from suppliers, it was the supplier's fault, but since it is Ford, General Motors or Chrysler, it is their fault no matter who made the parts.

The recall occurred. If the recall is completed in a timely manner, then I will not bother.

No, people hijack other usernames and spit out garbage. I request PUTC to block the IP address of the individual who posted the above comment.

interesting. Ford is the only manufacturer of F750 trucks among the "Big Three"? The global standard is not big, the weird GM and FCA don’t

There are many specialized companies that manufacture this type of truck. Ford will not be the only one.

30.4 million ignition switches caused about 120 deaths. Due to more serious safety flaws, more people died. Especially because many deaths involve alcohol, distracted driving, 10 pounds (often an 18-inch lanyard) dangling from a key ring, etc.

I don't understand the big deal with this problem. The supplier either did not apply the anti-corrosion coating or used the wrong anti-corrosion coating, causing galvanic corrosion. This is very different from Toyota's sales of vehicles that had obvious frame rot problems for decades, and then turned around and blamed the frame supplier afterwards.

"Interesting. Ford is the only manufacturer of F750 trucks among the "Big Three"? Not big by global standards, weirdly General Motors and FCA don't have one"-Robert Ryan

Ford only became the manufacturer of F750 (7/8) trucks in 2016. Prior to this, the F-650 and F-750 were produced by Navistar at a plant in General Escobedo, Mexico, as part of a joint venture called Blue Diamond Truck Co. The interesting thing is that even Ford in Mexico in 2010 Starting to produce its own 6.7 Powerstroke, Ford F-650/750 will continue to use Cummins engines and Allison gearboxes until sometime in 2015.

After reading it, I still feel pretty good. Sorry, I can't lower my head to your level.

That's not what the paramedics said when they carried you into the ambulance. :)

Yes, Navistar is manufacturing Ford 650 and 750 trucks. Now Ford took them home. Now Navistar will build trucks for General Motors. This is called following the leader.

@FrankinFl Follow the leader? In a medium truck? ? Wake up, Ford is far from the leader in this category

General Motors is using trucks made by Navistar, just like Ford did. This is Ford leading, General Motors following.

Haha, you are one of them... It is getting better and better, but why does Powerstroke always follow Duramax in HD comparison?

Ford has tried 3 different engines, but still can't beat 1 Duramax engine produced by GM! Now this is fun! !

Hey, watching the babies cry again, give up.

Jafrank, we are crying because you can't keep up... You keep proving how knowledgeable you are. You are always running away, what happened last night? You didn’t answer my question, but I understand that if I were in Ford 5.4 LOL, I would run curled up too

I feel sorry for you, you are the laughingstock on this website. But you must like it

GM took the lead by ensuring that Duramax was installed, not joking.

If I were in Ford 5.4 LOL, I would also be curled up and running Publisher: Sean

Hahaha, you read that right!

I have seen a light bulb brighter than you

Really... 6.6L displacement! This is what I mean! No need to be defensive and insulting like Frank!

It is different from Ford's 6.0 and 6.4 attempts. 6.7...This is what I want to compare.

Yes, really...only one of these engines is a Ford genius. If you "get" what you claim, cut in and spit it out (or do you swallow your BF's jizz?)

Your GMshills are fish in a bucket

Ford used all three engines,... Ford's genius idea was to let others make 6.0 and 6.4! Oh my goodness. I don't know that I have to go deep into your brain to understand this, but I think next time I will write a novel for you!

Besides, I don't think this is the real Sean because other people use the slogan "There are a lot of fish in the bucket". Um. It must be another clown without b@lls using another username. Poor and cowardly

@TNT is Frank, his 5.4 definitely doesn't have any balls! ! He is too easy. All his phrases, "GMshills"... "The light bulb is brighter." I’ve never seen a man talk so much about jazz and swallowing, you know what he’s thinking LMFAO

The idea of general genius must make Isuzu make the old Duramax. GM’s current idea is for someone to make their entire mid-size Silverado 4500 and 5500-the same company you are using that made the old 6.0/6.4 PowerStroke.

I didn't want to say it earlier, but now that you said it, Ford's Powerstroke was defeated by Isuzu? ? It’s embarrassing...Tuck and Run 5.4, you can’t keep up

What? No comments for Frank..? Exactly! If it weren't for Frank, you would respond to the allegations.

@ Frank the Fake You are good at hiding πŸ‘ The point of this conversation is that Powerstroke can't keep up with Duramax.. From day one. Just like Frank in his 5.4!

This is not Ford Powerstroke. It's Navistar, you idiot.
