The newly appointed sales partner Magare Company Limited of Hytec Services Africa in Tanzania has obtained the HSA containerized hydraulic hose workshop to further expand its influence in the country.

In order to supplement the ability of Magare's Mwanza branch to provide hydraulic equipment and services to mines in the lake area around Mwanza, the container hydraulic hose workshop began operations on January 1, 2021.

The mobile workshop is located in a 40-foot container with the Hytec brand and operates on Magare’s premises, ready to be mobilized at any time to provide comprehensive services to any mine. Equipped with a complete crimping and cutting machine; and equipped with hoses, accessories and adapters; hose grinders and scraping equipment.

Delivery and installation are very timely, allowing HSA staff to have enough time for staff training, including product identification code and part number, accessory identification and hose production. HSA's African Development Manager Louis Potter spent 3 weeks on site in Tanzania overseeing the setup and training.

"Considering the challenges of 2020, Magare has successfully entered the hydraulic market in Tanzania," Louis pointed out. “They have a solid footprint in Tanzania’s mines, and through a containerized workshop, they are now entitled to provide hose manufacturing services. We believe that this additional service product will enable them to expand their business scope and include other hydraulic components in the future Among its products. Magare has hired people who understand the local hydraulics market and its challenges. This will also ensure future growth."

Since the container workshop was formally established, the interest of potential users has grown, and there are signs that this will be a successful adventure.

In order to meet the expected demand for the Bosch Rexroth hydraulic series, Magare is building a larger workshop at its plant in Mwanza. They are also operating in Dar es Salaam to meet the needs of the hydraulic industry in the capital and surrounding areas.
