A God of War fan looking forward to "God of War: Twilight of the Gods" took "Teacup Head" as inspiration and made a creative rubber hose interpretation of Kratos and Atreus.
The action-adventure series of "God of War" has consolidated its position as the main product of PlayStation and modern video games, and has launched a wide range of games in many console generations. But even in addition to its main franchise entry, the prolific intersection of "God of War" and other franchise rights is mainly due to the image of its protagonist in the name.
Between Kratos and the intersection of Fortnite, Shovel Knight, and Mortal Kombat, this stoic, cross-border demigod has a different perspective, portraying him in a unique way, even if they are not necessarily classic perspectives. L3mmie, also known as Daniel Lehmacher, shared the rubber hose fan art of Kratos and Atreus. L3mmie admits that "Tea Cup Head" is the "biggest source of inspiration" for their works of art, which is prominent and wonderful. Cuphead’s visually striking artistic style complements its outstanding rubber hose animation style. The garden hose animation is derived from a cartoon in the 1920s and uniquely depicts a character with strong limbs and appendages but no anatomical joints, as seen here with Kratos and Atreus.
The rubber hose style design of Kratos and Atreus is undeniably cute, and fans shared their new desire for the intersection of these two franchises. Reddit user El-Mitochondria suggested that Kratos appear as the owner of the teacup head, while LDG192 believes that God of War is the "Disney IP of the 1930s." The rubber hose animation is far less graphic or detailed than the current graphic fidelity of Ares, which also strips it from its more cruel and violent colors, giving Kratos and Atreus a healthy and cartoonish look. Beauty.
Epic Mickey, Skullgirls, and Bendy and the Ink Machine are a few examples of other games that use rubber hose animation to produce hypnotic effects. Cuphead may not be the last game to adopt this particular style, but due to its importance, any subsequent game attempt may be forced to succumb to the inevitable Cuphead comparison.
L3mmie stated that they plan to upload their rubber hose fan art to their website, where fans can already buy fine art prints from Ellie, Abby, Dina and Joel from The Last of Us 2, as well as Cyberpunk2077 default Male prints V. Before that, fans might imagine what other characters in the "God of War" series would look like in this artistic style.
"God of War" is now available on PS4 and PS5, and the PC version will be released on January 14, 2022. Cuphead can be used on PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One.
