Coming to select stores and online retailers in October 2019, Milwaukee has 8 new Shockwave products specifically for linemen. The Milwaukee Shockwave Lineman’s 2-in-1 Sockets and Milwaukee Shockwave Lineman’s Hex Bit Sockets have been engineered to address the jobs utility workers face every day.

Milwaukee Shockwave Lineman’s Hex Bit Sockets

The Milwaukee Shockwave Lineman’s 2-in-1 Sockets cover 9/16″ and 3/4″ with one accessory. The way it works is simple. The smaller size nests inside the larger socket, held in place by a spring. When you work with the larger size, the fastener pushes the smaller socket out of the way.

You have two options—either 6-point or 12-point sockets. Both fit hex and square heads.  A 7/16″ to 1/2″ adapter comes with them for easy use with the M18 Fuel 7/16″ Utility Impact Wrench.

Both versions feature an internal anti-rust stainless steel spring and retaining ring. Milwaukee claims that these sockets will provide some seriously long spring life, dual-nut fastening versatility, and hands-free size changes.

Next up, the Milwaukee Shockwave Lineman’s Hex Bit Sockets incorporate a solid, one-piece design that withstands the sort of torque that comes part and parcel with the job.

The sockets also feature a compact profile and a 1-3/4″ hex fastening depth. These bad boys will fit all shear bolt, underground connectors, and pad mounts. They come in both 1/2″ and 3/8″ drive sizes.
